Gabriel R. Singson, Jr., President
Jay got his M.B.A. in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his undergraduate degree in business management from Ateneo de Manila University. Prior to Oak Drive, Jay spent close to a decade as COO of Macondray & Co, Inc., where he played an active role in the acquisition and public listing of Del Monte Philippines, Inc. He has also served as the Undersecretary for Privatization for the Department of Finance of the Republic of the Philippines.
When not at work, he enjoys dancing salsa and fantasizing about his next travel adventure.
Vanessa Siao David, COO
Vanessa is a Certified Public Accountant with a B.S. in accountancy from Centro Escolar University. She first joined Oak Drive as an accountant in 2008, was promoted to comptroller in 2010, and became the COO in 2013. Prior to this, she was a financial analyst for Becton Dickinson Philippines.
She loves swimming and spending time with her family, trying new cuisines and going on vacation.
John P. Sevilla, Director
Sunny got his master’s degree in public affairs from Princeton University, and his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, where he dual majored in economics and government. Sunny has experience working in financial markets with Goldman Sachs, the government with Department of Finance and Bureau of Customs, and the nonprofit world with Synergeia Foundation.
In his spare time, he likes exploring Manila using every means of transport available (that isn’t a car!).
Michelle C. Tarroza, Head of Business Incubation
Mich earned her bachelor’s degree from St. Scholastica’s College in Manila, where she studied both psychology and guidance counseling. She has over twenty years of experience in general management, sales, and business development from diverse industries including advertising, business process outsourcing, and human resource consulting.
Rommel R. Acosta, Portfolio Manager
Rommel graduated from the University of the Philippines. Though he initially intended to be a lawyer, reading the writings of Warren Buffett inspired him to change his focus. Rommel has spent much of the last fourteen years – ten of them with Oak Drive – looking for the most promising investments globally.
When not at work, he enjoys reading history and climbing mountains.
